Are some Anxiety Disorders actually disorders and best treated with medication?
I wake up and i have anxiety attacks. I sweat, my heart beats fast, i feel detached from the world, and pretty much all the symptoms. Is it a curable problem thru therapy or because this runs in my family would it be best treated with medication? I have an appointment coming up soon and im going to ask for ativan. When i take a benzo its as if i pull my head out of water and can all the sudden look at myself and feel totally normal.
I am 13 and have a lump under my right armpit and worried i might have breast cancer?
I am 13 and worried i might have breast cancer. About 2 weeks ago i discovered a lump under my right armpit. It doesnt hurt i only found it when shaving. My period is also a week late. I have been to the doctors, she examined it, and said to book another appointment again once i have had my period if it is still there. I am really worried it is breast cancer though I know it is rare at my age.
thanks xx
What are the chances of an 18 year old having breast cancer..?
I went to the Gynecologist today for an annual exam. While she was doing a breast exam she felt a lump in my right breast. I have an appointment on Monday to get an ultrasound. What are the chances that it could be breast cancer? Is it more likely that it’s a cyst?
thank you
@ Amy – thank you that does make me feel a little better
How do doctors treat severe anemia? My hemoglobin level is at 8.5?
I had gastric bypass in May 2005, so I’ve had issue with vitamins over the past few years, but this is new.
I already get weekly B12 shots (I do them myself) and I have an appointment with a hemotologist in a little over a week.
Accutane and side effects…?
this question is for anyone who has personally taken accutane or have a close relative who has taken it.
Okay, while on accutane, did vision in one or both of your eyes become blurred at some point during the 5 months? Or anything else with your vision? I am worried for my eye health for the following reasons:
1) my optometrist recently told me i have larger optic nerves than i should have. he says they are twice as big and he is surprised my previous eye doctors didn’t mention it.
2) my right eye vision is significantly blurry. I tried to brush it off, but I can’t. It’s like i have an eye lash in my eye that won’t come out.
3) increased sensitivity to light
4) my optometrist says that an optic neuritis (increased size in optic nerve) might be due to Glaucoma. it is caused because the nerve does not receive enough fluids. HOWEVER, Accutane is known to cause severe drying, possible connection?
Okay. Already called the dermatologist, he just shrugged it off and said keep going with medication unless it gets worse then call him.
My pharmacist said it could be the two can be connected, and that i should see an OPTOMALGIST not optometrist. They can deduce why my optic nerve is swelling. I already scheduled an appointment don’t worry.
Okay, so my question is has anyone experienced similar situations with accutane? Please. I really want to know. Thanks for all the help
