Well it is sort of embarrassing to ask this but i would like to know. Thank you for taking your time to read this anyways here is my question I am going threw puberty at age (14) and I wanted to make healthy choses. I don’t eat bad foods I don’t eat candy and hadn’t had a pop in 11 months because I realized it was bad for the bones but yeah I’m wondering if a wise adult can tell me what healthy foods I should eat to grow up to be big and strong please answer this with your best advise examples like what fruits and vegetables should I eat or how much of them. and just to let you know height: 54 build:small weight:112 anyways thank you

Okay, serious health question: just before Thanksgiving, I contracted a double pink eye infection. I went to the clinic, and they prescribed me Tobramycin eye drops, which I was instructed to take 4 times a day (2 drops in each eye per time) until my eyes cleared up. And they did completely in about three days.

Then, just around December 1st, a more mild version of pink eye, or perhaps an irritation from something, returned in my left eye. Using more of the Tobramycin drops, the redness cleared in about 1.5 days.

A little over a week later, my conjunctivitis returned once again in my right eye. By now, all of my eye drops were gone, and when I called in to get the physician’s input, she instructed me to get a refill of the same prescription. It took about 4 days to clear completely.

Again, on December 22, the swelling and redness returned in my right eye again. At this point, I threw out ALL of my makeup. I now had to go in to see the doctor again, and she prescribed me a new drop formula called NEO/POLY/GRA OP SOL, which I was to take 2 drops to eyes 4 times a day for 5-7 days. Though this had cleared up by Christmas, I hadn’t worn any makeup during the 7 day period in which I was taking the drops.

You thought I was done? Ha, not even close. I woke up this morning with (you guessed it!) PINK EYE! This time in the right one again. I don’t understand it. I cleaned and disinfected everything, I’ve been careful not to touch my eyes, I’ve thrown all my makeup out (I haven’t worn any at all for two weeks). WHY DOES IT KEEP COMING BACK???

One of my aunts has been ill and losing weight for like 4 months. I don’t know how much because I havn’t seen her, but there was speculation within the family that she was on cocaine. She was pretty fat before and apparently she’s extremely skinny. There was an um…falling out between her and most of the family because she basically abandoned my cousin, and took things of my grandma’s after she died last year that were supposed to go to my mother and I, but obviously I didn’t want THIS to happen, and my mom is still very close to her. It’s hard to get straight information, because she, and her whole family lie a lot. My uncle M(my aunt and mother’s brother) and other aunt K (their sister) called my mom asking if she knew that L had cancer. She freaked and called L. Apparently nobody knew until my cousin snooped through aunt L’s room and found the meds. She’s on radiation pills and I believe antibiotics, and other things. When my mom talked to L, she said that they were finding "cells" but no mass so they thought there was only a chance it could be cancer, but it was probably just stones. She said she was going back for a checkup in a couple weeks and hadn’t even missed a day of work. Now this doesn’t seem right. I highly doubt they would give radiation pills to someone without knowing if they had cancer, and as far as I know, no amount of kidney or bladder stones are going to be putting off cancer cells. But yet wouldn’t she be hospitalized? She could have been without us knowing I suppose. She’s also been a very heavy alcoholic for a very long time, but I don’t know if she still is. I’ve only seen her once in the last year, for like 5 minutes, but she seemed to have had a bit to drink. My best guess is that she has Carcinoma In Situ, which would really suck, or that she’s really just taking the radiation for overactive thyroid and using this to prevent the other kids from kicking her out of my grandma’s house, which they all own and she is living in rent-free. Like I said, my extended family is pretty screwed up, but I would still never want this to happen. Does anyone have a good idea of what’s going on?

For the last couple weeks I thought I was pregnant. I had morning sickness, overactive bladder, even growing out of a couple pairs of pants. I have an 8-month-old baby girl, and nursing her my period hadn’t returned yet. Yesterday I took a pregnancy test, and it was negative. Then last night I got my period. Has anyone ever had pregnancy symptoms that turned out to be PMS, or your body cycle returning to normal after giving birth?
I’ve never had any PMS problems before, so I never even thought it was a possible explanation for my symptoms until I got my period.

I feel acute pain when I straighten my left leg in an effort to stand, after sitting. I’m Ok in the morning, climbing stairs, walking etc. The pain is located on the inside part of the leg, at knee level. Joint pain, maybe? Nothing is swollen.
It takes maybe a minute before the pain leaves and I can stand up and walk. If I walk too much I , the condition becomes worse but not while I’m walking. It’s only the next time I straighten my leg after sitting that the pain is worse than if I hadn’t walked too much.
