Is it ethical for my cardiologist to tell me not to go to the ER with angina?

Have 4 stents placed, last cath show all are open…still have severe angina that radiates into jaw and arm…have been to the ER with this 3 times this week…kept overnight for observation…enzmes and ekgs normal…never had a heart attack before….but severe coronary disease….cardiologist came to see me in hospital today and told me it is rediculous that I came to ER 3 times in a week…and that he sees no evidence for chest pain. Compared me to the boy crying wolf. My angina is real and intense…helped with nitro patch and totally relieved with nitro drip. I have a family history of heart attacks. The pain is severe and I am afraid to ignore it as I have heard bad outcomes of people that have. He said I need to stop coming to the ER and treat this pain as if it were a chronic pain such as back pain. He made me feel embarrassed and has made me feel uncomfortable going back to the ER. I would like your opinions on his treatment of me.
I had a heart cath a week ago and it showed all stents are open and no other significant blockages. I had an endoscopy on tuesday that ruled out spasms in the esophagus. Before each ER visit I took 3 nitros 5 min apart and the pain would ease off for a couple of minutes and come right back. To the person that said I am taking time away from a real cardiac event, how do I know unless I go get checked out if I am having a real cardiac event or not? The pain is the same pain I had when severe blockages were found and stents placed.
Thank you all for responding!!! I needed your support!!!

Sinus Tachycardia??

I think I have ST, my doc has put me on a beta-blocker. I have episodes of a fast heart rate and palpitations and just feel horrible. I get bouts of angina and TIAs. Im also on a stroke medicine. I also have high BP. What makes me mad is they r want ing to say panic attacks. I dont feel fright, I just want to lay down and sleep it off when it happens. Its usually my right side when I have a TIA. Am I crazy, is it panic attacks? I just dont know what to think. It comes on sudden and ends sudden, its not a gradual thing. Thanks for ur time.
O and Ive had a heart cath, the heart is physically fine, thanks.

Zoloft and vasospamsms.?

i have been on zoloft for about a month or major depression. i have a history of variant angina or vaospasms, these seemed to have increased considerably since startng the zoloft . my cardiologist added imdur to a nitro patch and beta blocker. also seem to be having anxiety or panic attacks which i did not have before so dont know if the anxiety is causing the spasms or the zolof. of note i am a 50 yr old female with a stent to the lad year ago. stent is patent from heart cath in nov.

Heart palpitations?

I am a 33 year old female. I have been diagnosed with heart palpitations. The doc mentioned atrial fibrillation. Ive studied the issue and I guess it has never been coaught on an ECG. My heart rate tends to be fast. I had a heart cath and the heart itself is physically fine. I suffer from sporatic angina attacks and TIA’s. My bp tends to run around 130/99. I used to be an athlete that trained on a high level. I was 1995 National Champ. I had a paramedic say once that that could be the problem. I dont know what to look for as far as the problem goes. What does it sound like to you and what should be my next step in treatment. I see my doc tomorrow about my BP, only the nurses seem concerned. The docs keep saying they r going to put me on medication but never do. This BP has been this way for about 6 years now and is getting worse.

anyone heard of stents causing angina or sharp chest pain . stent lad yr ago.?

pain is usually one side of chest or spot on left chest wall, heart cath negative last week. egd yr ago ulcer on nexeum. dx at one point with vaso spasms. on cardizem daily. any ideas. other s/s soa, edema, sometimes diaphorisis or hands go numb. , also fatigue.
negative cath vessels open. small lad where stent is but patent. large rca also patent. as far as chest pain pre cath didn’t really have cp mostly fatigue, soa. yes feels the same to me. recent thallium showed ‘stunned myocardium ‘below stent but hc neg when they went in to check.
