Is it healthy to lose weight by eating 1 meal a day and drinking lots of water?
The past several days I have been eating 0-2 meals a day and drinking about 15-25 cups of water a day. I drink so much water that I usually don’t feel hungry. Is this healthy? And the meals I eat are usually fairly light like maybe a chicken wrap.I am only 15 and I am 6 foot and 188 pounds.

You can die from too much water.Your flushing all the electrolytes from your body!
Eating 0-2 meals a day probably isn’t the best way. I would eat all 3. Drinking water will speed up your metabolism which will help you lose weight. Eating breakfast will also help. Good luck!
you should definatly eat all THREE meals. but as you say you are not hungry so just eat little portions for each meal.
no, because you’re not consuming enough calories to support your basic bodily functions. you’re going to lose weight, but it’s going to be muscle tone-so you’ll get skinny, but you’ll look unhealthy. and if you start eating normally again, you’ll gain weight back like crazy. keep eating light foods and drinking lots of water, but eat several times a day, like three main meals and two snacks.
When you only ingest one meal a day your body goes into "survival mode" and your metabolism slows right down. This means you burn calories at a much slower rate, and this obviously isn’t good for weight loss.
You are much better off eating little and often to increase your metabolism and lose weight. Hypnotherapy can help get you in the right mindset for changing your diet and vastly improves your willpower.

You will lose weight, but no, it isn’t healthy.
On the other hand, I only eat a 300-calorie meal each day and drink water like a horse, so I can’t talk. But you don’t want an ED.
Please eat more. It isn’t healthy, and you’ll start to get sick.
absolutely not…your body will think you are starving it and actually hold on to fat. Your metabolism will actually slow down. It’s better to spread out light meals throughout the day and still drink lots of water.
I’d eat three meals a day that are healthy instead of eating one. You shouldn’t be drinking so much water without any nutrition; that isn’t healthy, and won’t help you lose weight without making you feel sick after a while. As a fifteen-year-old guy, you should be eating much more. 188 lbs for your age is normal, especially if your 6 feet tall. Try eating healthier, and drink water, but not so much to the point of not feeling hungry.
hope this helps, and good luck!
It’s not healthy. You aren’t having enough to eat and you could be having too much water. If you have too much water you can die from water poisoning.
What you can do to stop feeling hungry is to eat smaller meals more frequently. Have 6 meals per day. Keep your calories to at least 1200 per day and eat healthy foods such as fruits, vegetables, fish and chicken. Almonds and other nuts are good also. They are higher in fiber and take longer to digest so they make you feel fuller.
Of course it is not completely healthy but to lose weight you just need to cut your calories by 3500 every week. Drinking water always makes us feel full but you can not survive completely on water. After awhile your rapid weight loss will cease and your metabolism will slow completely. If you ate one meal a day then I would make it a large one. Eat a bbq chicken breast and two sides of veggies. Chicken is low-fat and low-calorie if baked and veggies are low-calorie and no fat. Then in the evenings eat a light snack with water. Such as light popcorn or fruits. Popcorn has relatively 110 calories for the whole bag if you get the ones that are not full of butter. Kettle corn is great! It takes good and is low-calorie. You may want to exercise some just to have your metabolism stay up, such as walking a little for 30 mins, 4-6 times a day and wear weights on your ankles for resistance. Check out the ehow articles for more tips.
1、Limit TV. Watching too much TV encourages you to eat more than you realize. Avoid the excess calories and mindless eating by cutting down on the amount of time you spend in front of the TV. Find other activities to enjoy that occupy your hands as well as your time.
