How will pregnancy affect my taking a pt test in the air force? I will have the profile I know for big stuff?

But can they give me a pt test if I am only 1 month pregnant? Please no sexism, pregnant women can do certain jobs that need to be done. I will flag you for saying women in the military should not get pregnant and it is better off without them, my family has been military for generations and you will be picking on the wrong female, I’ll tell you right now

We were exempt from fitness tests as soon as we got a confirmed pregnancy, I’m sure that the Air Force does it the same. We had until 6 months after the birth before we had to do the tests again.

    Good luck with your pregnancy.

You need to get your pregnancy test results in writing and give them to you nco. In the army, you are exempt from the pt test for the duration and during the recovery period (after delivering or miscarriage). This will not exempt you from going to pt and from doing some modified pt like walking and stretching. In fact, doing light pt while pregnant is good for you and the baby.

as a former air force girl, my experience is that if you ask your doctor for a profile, they will do it.

I image that you have at least a little pain or sickness that would warrent it, right?

I got a full profile when i was just feeling a little tired.

I know it seems like i wussed out but better safe then sorry.
